December 2015 VPHIB Data Quality Dashboard & Compliance Report

Each month OEMS provides two reports:  A Data Quality Dashboard and a Compliance Report.  The reports are generated from VPHIB for the Director of EMS.  The report is also provided to the Division of Compliance and Regulation, RSAF program, and posted in the VPHIB Support Suite for the EMS system.

The Compliance Report is based on the requirement that each EMS agency submit all EMS responses to VPHIB within 30 days of the each response.  The volume of anticipated responses is also measured and is based on licensure information and historical data submissions.

The Data Quality Dashboard (DQD) report is based on the requirement that agencies submit the required minimum dataset in the specified technical format.  OEMS uses the the following scoring to measure data quality.

  • Green/Satisfactory = 98% or greater (compliant)
  • Yellow/Below Average = 95% - 97.99% (compliant)
  • Red/Unsatisfactory = Less than 95% (non-compliant)
  • Black < 0 (non-compliant)

NOTE: Agencies that have not transitioned to version 3 who's transition date has passed will be included in the next monthly compliance report.

The quality dashboard will provide agencies with a snapshot of the quality of their data.  Detailed quality reports may be requested from OEMS through support suite.  For agencies using third party vendor software these reports are available in VPHIB through the upload process (Path = Modules/Reports/Data Transfer History/Data Quality Report).

Should you have any questions or concerns with the validity of your agency’s status, please contact us in the same manner as requesting any other type of assistance http//:support@OEMSSupport.Kayako.com or support@OEMSSupport.Kayako.com.  The last page of the report contains a key to help you interpret the report.  Compliant agencies are not listed within the report.

Don’t forget that VPHIB is transitioning to the new version 3 national EMS data standard!  If you haven't already checked your agency's date you can find it at http://oemssupport.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/List/Index/11/vphib-version-3
