February 2016 VPHIB Data Quality Dashboard & Compliance Report
Each month, the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) provides two reports: a Data Quality Dashboard (DQD) and a Compliance Report (CR). The reports are generated and provided to the Director of OEMS, the Division of Regulations and Compliance, and the Rescue Squad Assistance Fund (RSAF) Grants program. The reports are also posted in the VPHIB Knowledgebase Support Suite for the EMS system.
The reasons for non-compliance on the compliance reports are shown below.
The scoring ranges for data quality are shown below and are developed as a monthly average:
The quality dashboard will provide agencies with a snapshot of the quality of their data. Detailed quality reports may be requested from OEMS through support suite. For agencies using third party vendor software these reports are available in VPHIB (v2) through the upload process (Path = Modules/Reports/Data Transfer History/Data Quality Report).
Note: February's VPHIB Compliance Report includes agencies that have not migrated from version 2 to version 3 by their assigned deadline.
If you have any questions or concerns with the validity of your agency’s status, please contact us by either submitting a ticket at our VPHIB support suite, http://oemssupport.kayako.com/, or by sending us an email to email@example.com.
The last page of the report contains a key to help you interpret the report. Compliant agencies are not listed within the report.
Don’t forget that VPHIB is transitioning to the new version 3 national EMS data standard! Agencies started moving last July. Information on the VPHIB v3 timeline and a compliance update is posted at the following link: http://oemssupport.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/216/47/vphib-v3-revised-timeline
