TO UNLOCK A TRAUMA REGISTRY RECORD If at anytime trauma registry users need to update a record i.e. to correct or add missing information, the record will need to be unlocked. Once unlocked the record can be updated and saved and it will overwrite the old record. Attached is the current list of hospitals within the Virginia Elite system and their corresponding codes. Attached is the current list of EMS agencies and corresponding agency number within the Virginia State Bridge and Virginia Statewide Trauma Registry.  EMS agencies and hospitals submitting data via a third party vendor need to assure hospital information is being accurately submitted.  
The validity rules allow hospitals and OEMS to monitor the quality of data being submitted into the Virginia Statewide Trauma Registry.  These rules can be seen in the attached documents to allow hospitals to better understand their validity scores.  Validity rules may be updated without notice as issues are identified since they do not block records from being submitted.
