To better facilitate research projects and to accommodate various
agency requests, we are going to be updating 123 individual hospital
names in the Virginia Elite system. While a few of these are to
correct superficial issues such as spacing or misspellings, the
majority of these changes are to add the corporate/parent name to each

with setting up computers to access the Virginia Elite Field
program. The Virginia Elite Field program is used to create
Electronic Medical Records (pre-hospital) in the field when access to

issues are occurring with posted/submitted records. These reports

validity scores per record, the frequency issues that are occurring,

The Virginia EMR form is being updated on 07.17.2018 and the Set From
Postal Code option is being replaced with the Location Lookup
option. This is used to lookup town, county/independent city, and
state information by entering in the zip code and selecting the
option. The Location Lookup option provides more valid choices for
users to select from eliminating 99% of the need for users to manually
enter in this type of information.

the morning of 01/03/2018 at 8:00 AM. These changes will not have
any impact on functionality. The adjustments are being made to
enhance the ability to collect information and to improve accuracy.
